Interpreters

There are a few fan made interpreters available.  NAGI, if I may say so, has the best compatibility but only runs under Windows.  AGIL and Sarien are close but still have lingering bugs.  They are available for a many other platforms (like Linux) however.

• AGI for OS/2 Project - Somebody decided to port AGI to the OS/2 operating system (archive.org cache)
• AGIL - a very recently released interpreter.  Based on the LAGII code
• df\'s Mirrors - Dark Fiber has very kindly supplied a mirror for the majority of AGI interpreters out there. If you have trouble accessing NAGI from this site, try here instead.
• Java AGI - an interpreter written completely in AGI.  A work in progress.
• LAGII - apparently abandoned interpreter.  The site is still available however.
• Martin Manning Interpreters - List of interpreters for popular games.
• NAGI - interpreter based off the original Sierra interpreter.  Very close compatibility.
• Sarien - the oldest, still in development, interpreter around.  Available for many platforms.
• Sarien (mega-tokyo) - Original home for Sarien
• Sarien for Acorn

Tools

Some tools available for AGI game creation.

• AGInfo - Amongst all the content in this page is a link to AGInfo, a program to help identify the version of Sierra's interpreters.
• Chaos AGI Studio - a group of individuals who plan to continue developing AGI Studio to support features that they feel Kelly left out. Unfortunately, this site has not been updated since 1999
• Eidolon NextGen Pic Editor - Eidolon is working on the next generation agi picture editor. It features transparencies and the ability to move lines around.
• Eidolon NextGen Pic Editor - Secondary Site.
• Hex Domain AGI & SCI Projects, The - Includes Mokalus of Borg's AGI2SCI tools and ARVO (AGI Reusable Variable Organiser)
• Linux AGI Studio - a QT port of AGI Studio for Linux.
• Nailhead's AGI Studio - AGI Studio has a new maintainer, Nailhead, making it up to date.  Use this program to help create your own AGI games.
• Visual AGI - Hopefully this will provide the next generation editing suite for AGI games.  At the moment it makes a very nice sound editor.
• Windows Linux AGI Studio - A Windows port of the QT port of AGI Studio for Linux. Ie, it's a Windows program that uses QT.

Games

There are a number of games (fan and commercial) that are in development and a few are even finished. Many games don't even have a website so this is just a portion of the games that are currently being worked on.

• 13th Diciple, The - In January - March 2002, 8 women disappeared from a college high school in Boston, Massachusetts. Although the police found numerous clues that pointed to someone within the school's boundaries, no one was ever apprehended. The police is at a loss.
• AGI Games Depository - A depository to store any fan-made AGI game. Available for people with no place to host their new game.
• Al Pond - Official Site
• Apocalyptic Quest - an RPG set in Australia's future based around the Fallout series.
• Buddhies - The original storyline involved a quest to journey to the Western Paradise to retrieve Buddhist scriptures for the Chinese Emperor.
• California Gold Rush Home - the site of the original creators of Gold Rush. You can still buy this game!
• Coco Coq - Go inside a base to save your friends and avoid deadly traps and robots.
• Dave's Quest - Dave needs money. And fast.
• DeadLine
• DG: The Agimouse Adventure - You must help find your twin brother.
• Evryware Inc. - Creators of the Manhunter series of games.
• F*ck Quest - urgh... first one is finished. Sequel in progress.
• Good Man - A game that follows a similar Space Quest theme.
• Hank's Quest: Victim of Society - Hank wants to party organised as a way to get presents from his friends.  (occasionally not available due to bandwidth limits)
• Hitler's Legacy - Escape from Hitler's prison and stop his new rise to power. (submitted by Sami Tervo)
• Jen's Quest - Your friend disappears so you attempt to rescue her by answering a strange note. (submitted by Joel)
• Justin Quest - Justin crash lands on a strange planet after foiling his sister's plans.
• Little Pirate - A work in progress by Kon-Tiki. Written in the dutch language but screenshots are available at the bottom.
• Naturette - Naturette must collect 8 diamonds in order to get back home.
• Naturette 2: Daughter of the Moon - Naturette is mistaken as the daughter of the moon. Naturette must find a way to get dressed and go back to her home.
• Operation: RECON - A team is sent to investigate the disappearance of a research team on the moon.
• Residence 44 Quest - You arrive at a new college and discover there's no room for you.

• Serguei's Destiny - an apprentice sorcerer Serguei must break Blackmagic's spell and free the peaceful village Jolimy.

• Sorcerer's Appraisal, The - The AGI prequel to the series of RON adventure games.
• Space Quest: The Lost Chapter - Help Roger Wilco fumble his way through a lost piece of his history.
• Star Commander - Original version created in AGI. Now being developed in AGS.
